Lucee was founded by Sara and Lucy, bringing together two very different sides of fashion.
Sara has spent more than 30 years designing and developing womenswear, from design and creative direction to leading large fashion businesses in the UK and Scandinavia. Lucy's background is in fashion retail and selling directly to women, from running her own independent store to building and selling her own clothing brand.
Together, we understand both sides: how clothes are designed and made, and what makes women want to wear them.
We design Lucee in the UK and work with specialist makers in Portugal, India and China. We produce in small quantities and care about the things that make a piece feel right — the fabric, the fit, the finish, the colour, the buttons, the embroidery and the details you notice when you put it on.
Natural fibres are at the core of our collections. When we use a blend, it is because another fibre adds something the garment needs — lightness, strength, movement or shape.
Our prices reflect the materials, workmanship and small runs behind each piece. We want our clothes to earn their place in your wardrobe by being worn often.
We started Lucee because we wanted clothes with femininity, detail and personality that feel right on an ordinary day and on the days that call for something more.
